In a world rapidly reshaped by technology, few individuals have contributed as significantly to IT education and employability in India as Dr. Shiraz Khan, Founder and Managing Director of Technoglobe IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and VSM Infotech. With over 25 years of experience in education, skill development, and technology training, Dr. Khan has transformed Technoglobe into one of the most trusted and rapidly growing IT training organizations in India — one that bridges the crucial gap between academia and industry.
We sat down with Dr. Khan for an exclusive interview to discuss his inspiring journey, Technoglobe’s impact, and his vision for the future of skill-based education in India.
Q1. Dr. Khan, you have had an illustrious career spanning over two decades. Could you tell us about your journey and how Technoglobe came into existence?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
My journey in education began with a simple belief — that knowledge must empower individuals to build meaningful careers. Back in 2001, I observed a major disconnect between what students were learning in traditional academic environments and what employers actually needed. Graduates were completing degrees but lacked the skills to secure jobs in the IT and digital sectors.
This gap inspired me to establish Technoglobe under our parent company VSM Infotech, starting from a small campus in Bassi, a suburb of Jaipur. What began as a humble initiative to teach computer literacy soon evolved into a large-scale movement in IT education and professional training. Over the years, through dedication, quality, and adaptability, Technoglobe has expanded to 100+ centers across 16 Indian states and 5 countries, serving as a platform for students to learn, innovate, and thrive.
Q2. Technoglobe has trained and placed thousands of students. What has been your driving mission throughout this journey?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
Our core mission has always been to make youth employable by aligning education with industry expectations. In today’s fast-changing digital economy, theoretical knowledge alone is not enough. Students need hands-on training, global certifications, and real-time project experience to stand out in the job market.
At Technoglobe, we call this approach “technology-empowered learning.” It combines classroom teaching with practical exposure, mentorship, and live projects. We also emphasize personality development, communication skills, and placement support so that our students are truly industry-ready.
Our vision is not only to create skilled professionals but also self-reliant individuals who can adapt to technological changes and build sustainable careers.
Q3. Under your leadership, Technoglobe has received several awards and global recognitions. Could you share some highlights?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
Recognition is always encouraging, especially when it reflects the collective effort of an organization. I was honored to be recognized among the “Best Visionary Leaders of Rajasthan” by My FM, part of the Dainik Bhaskar Group.
Technoglobe itself has been awarded the “Best Franchise Model” by the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, in the presence of actor Suniel Shetty, which was a proud moment for our entire team.
On a global scale, Technoglobe’s quality in training and placements was acknowledged at Oxford University Townhall, UK, which reaffirmed our international credibility. Moreover, our efforts have been recognized by esteemed personalities like Mr. Om Birla, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Dr. Najma Heptulla, actor Jackie Shroff, Mr. Shekhar Suman, and Mr. Shailesh Lodha — each recognition reminding us of our responsibility to uphold educational excellence.
Q4. The IT training industry is highly competitive. What makes Technoglobe stand out from others?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
Our strength lies in our commitment to real outcomes. Many training institutions focus on course delivery — we focus on career delivery. Every curriculum at Technoglobe is designed in collaboration with industry experts and continuously updated to reflect the latest technologies like AI, Data Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, and Graphic Design.
Another unique differentiator is our Franchise Model, which has been a key to our expansion. We developed an inclusive, low-investment model with zero franchise fee and a fast return on investment structure. This model empowers entrepreneurs to open Technoglobe centers in their own cities, helping us scale quickly while maintaining quality and accessibility.
Within a short period, we’ve established 100 franchise centers, and we are on track to add 50 more centers soon. It’s a model that not only supports business growth but also contributes to local employment and education development.
Q5. What impact has Technoglobe created in terms of skill development and employability?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
The impact has been both quantitative and qualitative. We have successfully trained and placed hundreds of thousands of students across India in reputed organizations. Beyond numbers, what truly matters to me is how Technoglobe has transformed lives — turning fresh graduates into skilled IT professionals, freelancers, and even entrepreneurs.
Our placement team works closely with top recruiters to connect students with real job opportunities. Moreover, the global certifications offered at Technoglobe give students an international edge, enabling them to compete in the global digital economy.
We take great pride in seeing our alumni hold strong positions in IT companies, startups, and digital agencies worldwide. Every success story motivates us to expand our mission further.
Q6. Education is evolving rapidly with digital learning and automation. How is Technoglobe adapting to these global trends?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
Adaptation is at the heart of Technoglobe’s philosophy. We’ve integrated AI-driven learning tools, online hybrid classes, and cloud-based labs into our ecosystem, ensuring our students can learn flexibly from anywhere.
We also focus on industry-integrated courses — combining academic learning with practical training, corporate internships, and project-based assessments. This blended approach not only enhances learning outcomes but also prepares students for real-world challenges.
Our future roadmap includes expanding into international collaborations, EdTech innovation, and global virtual internships to keep our learners at the forefront of global technology trends.
Q7. You’ve also been active in philanthropy through Mission Muskaan. Could you tell us about your social initiatives?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
Yes, giving back to society is very close to my heart. I founded Mission Muskaan, an NGO dedicated to community welfare and humanitarian causes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mission Muskaan carried out extensive relief and distribution drives, providing food, medical supplies, and support to underprivileged families.
These initiatives were recognized and appreciated by several organizations and NGOs, but the real reward was seeing the relief and hope we could bring to people during such difficult times. I firmly believe that success has meaning only when it uplifts others, and through Mission Muskaan, we aim to continue supporting causes related to education, health, and social welfare.

Q8. What is your message to aspiring entrepreneurs and young professionals?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
My message is simple — believe in your purpose, not just your plan. Every successful venture starts with identifying a real problem and dedicating yourself to solving it. In education and technology, opportunities are limitless for those who are passionate and persistent.
To young professionals, I’d say — keep learning, keep adapting. The world of IT changes every day, and those who stay curious never become obsolete. Don’t just chase jobs; build skills that make you indispensable.
And to aspiring entrepreneurs, remember — challenges are not roadblocks; they are tests of commitment. If you believe in your idea and stay consistent, success is inevitable.
Q9. Finally, where do you see Technoglobe heading in the next five years?
Dr. Shiraz Khan:
Our focus is on global expansion and digital transformation. We aim to have a strong presence in every Indian state and expand to more countries abroad. With new-age technologies like AI, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity reshaping the world, Technoglobe plans to be at the forefront of delivering these skills.
We’re also working towards launching our own digital learning platforms and international certification programs that will make world-class IT education accessible to all, irrespective of geography.
Ultimately, I envision Technoglobe as not just an IT training company but a global movement in skill empowerment — enabling millions to achieve their dreams through technology and innovation.
