On May 30, 2024, Padubidri celebrated the grand opening of Swadesh Smart-ed Academy during the School Chalo event. The inauguration was graced by distinguished guests including actor Mr. Suman Talwar, former Karnataka minister Mr. Vinay Kumar, DDPI Mr. Ganapathi, and BEO Dr. Yallama. They were impressed by the school’s advanced facilities, which feature a robotics lab starting from Grade 3, as well as specialized labs for Math, Science, English, and Computers.

The academy is equipped with modern technology, including solar power, air conditioning, and projectors in every classroom. Additionally, a mobile app allows parents to monitor their children’s academic progress. The chief guests lauded Swadesh Smart-ed Academy as the first smart school in Udupi District and commended the vision of founder Mr. Nazeer Hussain and the efforts of Operational CEO ASG Harish Kumar and his team for their dedication and innovative approach.
