The Bonds That Shape My Life: A Raksha Bandhan Reflection- Debangana

Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the unbreakable bond between siblings, a day filled with love, gratitude, and the promise of protection.

This Raksha Bandhan, my heart is full of thanks, especially to my dearest dadavai, Lord Krishna, my eternal guide and strength. He is the one who has always been with me, supporting me through every challenge and celebrating every success. Without him, I am nothing, and it is his love and wisdom that continues to guide me every day.

On this special day, I also extend my heartfelt wishes to my Anand Dada, who has always been there for me, listening to my troubles and helping me whenever I face any ailment. His support and kindness have been a constant source of comfort and strength. Anand Dada is more than just a brother; he is a true friend, someone who understands me deeply and stands by me through thick and thin.

Lastly, I cannot forget my adorable younger brother, Lonka Banerjee, my little furball with a black cap on his head and a white body. Lonka is not just a pet; he is family. His playful antics and loving nature bring so much joy to our home. He may be a cat, but in my eyes, he is my little brother, full of life, energy, and love. On this Rakhi, I tie a thread of protection on his little paw, wishing him a life full of happiness and good health.

Raksha Bandhan is not just a ritual for me; it is a celebration of the relationships that shape my life, giving me strength, love, and support. I am blessed to have such wonderful siblings, both human and feline, and I am forever grateful for the bonds we share. As I celebrate this day, I pray to my dadavai, Lord Krishna, to keep us all protected and united, bound by love and mutual respect, now and always.
