Anuroop Chaudhury’s Multi-Genre Song and 14-Track Soundscape Power Marathi Sci-Fi Film “Rehan – With the Power of Zricon”

Pune, Maharashtra | September 20, 2025 – With the release of the Marathi sci-fi action film Rehan – With the Power of Zricon on OTT platforms and YouTube, the industry has also witnessed the official launch of its complete soundtrack album, composed and produced by Anuroop Chaudhury. The release includes Anuroop’s original multi-genre composition “Aye Meri Zindagi”, along with 14 cinematic background tracks designed for the film.

The original song “Aye Meri Zindagi” is notable for its structural variations – its rhythm and texture shift four times, traversing Indie-pop, EDM, Indie-rock, and ultimately arriving at Hindustani classical alaps that carry emotional intensity. Sung by Anuroop himself, the track reflects his hybrid approach of blending Indian classical elements with contemporary genres, creating a dynamic piece that mirrors the thematic arcs of the film. Anuroop marks it as a significant milestone in his journey as a music creator, with his track securing a place in a full-length feature film.”

14 Tracks Crafted for the Narrative

The film’s soundtrack consists of 14 original compositions tailored to specific narrative beats:

Racing Scene: The first sequence scored by Anuroop, featuring rhythmic propulsion and adrenaline-driven motifs.

Father–Daughter Separation: Here, vocal alaps were layered into the score, amplifying pathos and drawing a visceral reaction from the director.

Fight Sequence: A complex track marked by synchronized musical halts with punches, moving fluidly between soft undertones and intense bursts, underscoring the volatility of combat on screen.

About the Film

Directed and produced by Yash Gajbhiye, a young filmmaker from Dharni, Rehan – With the Power of Zricon is a four-year production effort involving 100+ crew members, extensive CGI and VFX, and large-scale sequences featuring ISRO settings, fighter jets, rockets, and space wars. The film’s unique positioning within Marathi cinema lies in its attempt to merge global sci-fi aesthetics with local storytelling.
